LEONID ALEXEIENKO
Singer, composer and guitarist, born in
November
the 27th in 1961 in Artyomovsk in Ukraine. Leonid studied music and singing in the High Institute for Music “GNESINS” in Moscow (USSR), and he specialized in modern singing and conducting singing ensembles under the tutorship of the composer and artist Vladimer Karobka he was graduated in 1991. From 1977-1979, he was the main singer of the Rock group “Camertone” in Ukraine. From
1979-1981, he was the lead singer
of the Rock group “Patok” (The Stream) in Ukraine. In
1989,
Leonid Alexeienko
was the lead singer of the Rock group “Red
Sky”,
which was an American – Soviet cooperation project. The production of this project was by the famous songmaker & producer DESMOND CHILD (USA). He is also a dear friend of Leonid. The
famous Russian composer Vladimir Matetski and the Russian promoter
and manager Boris Zosimov, were involved in the previous
project. In
1990, the “Red
Sky”
Rock
group, was registered in the “Encyclopedia
of the Soviet Rock”. In 1991, Leonid got married to Rim Banna and they are living in Nazareth. Since
1991, Rim
Banna
& Leonid Alexeienko
are
working together in the music
field
and compose their own music.
In
1995, Leonid
had
an important part in the Palestinian film “Chronicle
of a Disappearance”
directed by the famous director Elia Suleiman. In
1998,
Leonid had
a part in the Palestinian film “The Arabic
Dream”,
directed
by Elia
Suleiman.
